Health and Safety

Accolade Wines strives to create conditions where all employees accept responsibility for the environment, product quality and a safe workplace.

It is the Company’s policy, therefore, to promote the highest standards and prevent loss, damage and eliminate injury by:

• making the environment, product quality and safety an essential and integral part of management accountability
• having every employee and contractor on Company premises accept environment, product quality and safety as an individual responsibility and a pre-requisite in the planning of all activities
• determining environment, product quality and safety performance targets for all work groups and appropriate managers as part of the overall performance evaluation
• carrying out appropriate education and training in environment, product quality and safety management systems
• using a consultative process between management, employees and contractors with the view to maintain management systems that promote continuous improvement.

Accolade Wines intends to meet these commitments by ensuring work practices and procedures are adopted that comply with or exceed the requirements of all Acts, Regulations, Australian Standards, UK Health and Safety regulations, European Health and Safety legislation and other statutory provisions governing the environment, product quality and Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare.
